After a long, hot summer break, we started onsening again. We stayed two nights at a ryokan in Kannawa: Kannawasō. In July our daughter was born and this was her first stay at a ryokan. Kannawasō doesn't have a family bath, but the owners allowed the three of us to bathe privately.
Men's bath
We had a good time in Kannawa. There was a festival going on and we enjoyed watching the dance. The next morning I went to Kannawa Mushiyu, which was free because of the festival. We also enjoyed our ryokan. The onsen and the room were good. We chose not to have dinner there, but we did have breakfast, which was good too. Kannawasō is an affordable ryokan that offers good quality.
