Hundred meters up the hill from Tarutama Onsen, you'll find Jigoku Onsen. At Jigoku Onsen you can try five different baths and they also have family bath. One of the baths is mixed gender, but it was mainly used by men. Most women probably would not feel comfortable bathing there.
