Sakuratei is a nice ryokan in a quiet area of Kannawa. They recently joined the Beppu onsendō, so we hadn't been there yet.
You can use both the indoor bath and the rotenburo, but they are not connected. So after bathing at the indoor bath you have to get dressed and go to the rotenburo on the roof of the building.

Sakura was starting to bloom when we went to Sakuratei.
We had a good time at Sakuratei. The baths are nice and the view from the rotenburo is gorgeous. When we were leaving we met an old friend who happens to work there. That was nice too.
