Ebisutani Onsen is about a two hour drive from our apartment. It is located in the middle of nowhere on the Kunisaki peninsula. The drive up to this onsen is really beautiful. You get to see both mountainous landscapes as well as beaches and the sea. If you are going around lunchtime, I recommend doing as we did and have lunch at nearby Michi no Eki Kunimi.
