The onsen festival lasts a week, but you can only go to onsen for free the first three days. April 3rd was the third day of the festival and we went to Yu no Oka for free. This was our first visit, because it is not part of Beppu Onsendō.
Yu no Oka is a luxurious ryokan. They only have family baths, which cost 1500 yen for one hour. I really enjoyed it and I think the pictures speak for themselves.
