Hōzansō's opening hours are very limited, but my wife discovered that this does not apply to the family baths. There are two kinds of family baths: indoor and rotenburo. The rotenburo costs 1500 yen. The indoor bath was cheaper: 1000 yen for one hour.
We tried the indoor family bath. The building and the bath are made of wood, which gives it a nice atmosphere. The water was good too. I enjoyed bathing here.
