In September I visited Sendai in the north of Japan for a few days. My wife Maiko was presenting at a conference. Her mom and I came along for sightseeing.
The changing area is outside.
On the second day of our trip the weather wasn't great, so we decided to go onsening in a small resort town called Akiu. The first place we found after getting off the bus was Hotel Hananoyu. The place is a bit expensive, but for 900 yen you can try two different baths.
Nice scenery, but the water was lukewarm and I could smell the chlorine in the water.
For lunch I recommend the sashimi set.
