About two years ago we went to Yama no Yu and tried the family bath. This time we went to the main bath. The water doesn't have the milky white color that other places in Myōban have, but it does have yu-no-hana floating in it. There is no rotenburo, but you can go outside to cool off. From the outside area you have a nice view over Beppu.
