Oniishi no Yu is one of the first onsen I visited in Beppu. It belongs to Oniishibōzu Jigoku with which it shares the same entrance.
The onsen is quite nice. There is one big indoor bath and two outdoor baths. Oniishi no Yu also has family baths, which seem quite popular. You may have to make a reservation if you want to use one of the family baths.
Entrance
Outside the entrance to the onsen you can see the jigoku.
This is the rotenburo on the first floor.
The rotenburo on the second floor is made of wood.
