This is one of the last hotels we had to visit in downtown Beppu. The reason we hadn't visited yet was that Hotel New Matsumi's opening times are very limited. You can only bathe on weekdays between 15:00 and 17:00. New Matsumi has a rotenburo, which opens at 16:00. We came at 15:00, so we could only use the indoor bath.
