In early June my parents visited Oita for a few days. They wanted to try a hot spring and I was happy to show them one. I took them to one of my favorite onsen: Yu no Oka. While they were enjoying their family bath, I went to nearby Ogura Yakushi Onsen Oka no Yu. Ogura Yakushi Onsen is a typical 100-yen onsen: basic, but nice. The water was quite hot, but it was bearable. I didn't have to add cold water.
