Thursday we went to Asahi Onsen Akeno, which is basically a newer version of Asahi Onsen Shimogōri.

Dr. Fish — these fish eat the dead skin of your feet. It costs 1000 yen for 15 minutes.
I tried it in 2008. At first it feels ticklish, but you get used to it. Apparently it's good for your feet.
This onsen has a Japanese-style and a western-style bath. This schedule shows which bath is for which gender on which day.
The Japanese style bath has a nice garden.
