The first night of our Shikoku trip we stayed at Hotel Katsuragi. The hotel is located across the road from Dōgo Onsen. We stayed in a very nice Japanese style room.
The picture on the right is taken from Dōgo Onsen. The hotel has a great location.
There are two baths that alternate being men's and women's bath. One bath has a modern western style. The other has an old Japanese style. That night I went to the western style bath. It has a sauna, a big indoor bath, a rotenburo and a cold bath.
Hotel guests can bathe for free from 5:30 till midnight. If you are not staying at the hotel, it costs 1000 yen for adults and 500 yen for children and the baths are open from 15:00 till 21:00.
The next morning I tried the Japanese style bath, which has wonderful decorations on the wall.
