I found a part-time job that involves sightseeing in Beppu. Beppu's tourist info office wants to create day-trip suggestions for tourists from various countries. They asked foreign residents to go sightseeing and give their opinions about the destinations. It's an awful job, but someone has to do it... One of the destinations was Ryōchiku Bettei.
The lobby has a nice view.
Ryōchiku Bettei is a luxurious ryokan in Beppu's Kankaiji area. It opened about 18 months ago and has a very nice onsen. The indoor bath and rotenburo are separated, but for 500 yen you can use both. First I went to the indoor bath. After bathing I got dressed, went to the rotenburo and soaked some more.
