This place wasn't in my wife's itinerary, but we were nearby and okaasan persuaded us, so we went. The water at Iwato Onsen was very nice. It made my skin feel very smooth.
Iwato Onsen
Rotenburo. There is also an indoor bath, but there were too many people bathing to take pictures.
100% flowing spring water. It's the standard in Beppu, but here they are proud of it.
