Hotel New Tsuruta is one of the many hotels in downtown Beppu. Their onsen is quite nice. It has a big indoor bath and a small rotenburo on the balcony. There is also a sauna.
This was the third time we visited New Tsuruta and both times before the bath was very quiet. This time, when I entered, I was alone. Soon, however, a large group of boys came in and the bath became a bit crowded.
