Bathing at Yumotoya Ryokan costs only 300 yen and for that amount you can use their rotenburo privately. The water contains aluminium and is extremely acid, which worried me a bit because my wife is pregnant and I wondered if the acidness could have an effect on the baby. For this reason she didn't bathe so long and I didn't stay in very long either.
