After attending the wedding of my wife's sister at a very remote temple in the city of Bungo Takata, my wife and I, her brother, aunt and uncle went to nearby Senninyu.
Like the temple where the wedding was held, this onsen is also in the middle of nowhere. I liked it because it has a nice atmosphere. There are three baths: an indoor bath, a rotenburo and a cold water bath, which can be used to cool down after going to the sauna.
