Hotel Seikaisō is located in downtown Beppu. It's walking distance from Beppu station. If you are not staying at the hotel, the bath is open from 12:00 till 17:00.
This was the first time I saw a bath with tatami mats.
The view from the bath is nice, the staff is very friendly and the hotel provides you with everything you need for bathing. I think this is one of the better hotel onsen.
